Los Angeles Alternative Arts Projects

Created in 1975 in Venice, Calif., Carp was founded and managed by Barbara Burden and Marilyn Nix to work with artists to support and sponsor presentations of contemporary artworks in diverse media in various locations. This website aims to shed some light on such developments.
