In a performance by Alexis Smith in coordination with Carp, Scheherezade the Storyteller delivered a series of readings from "The Thousand and One Arabian Nights" at Roger Wong's Studio in Los Angeles. Guests had received invitations. Following the performance, Carp helped the artist send a documentary mailer with photographs and text.

Gordon Matta-Clark expressed to Carp in 1977 that he wanted to do a major piece in Los Angeles where he would cut through a house prior to its demolition.
Michael Brewster teamed with Carp Jan. 28-30, 1977, during a site-specific soundwork installed in the 1928 pedestrian tunnel where Taraval Street meets the Lower Great Highway in San Francisco.
With Carp's support, Diane Blell secured a full-page, black and white advertisement on the second page of Slash magazine, dated February 1978.
