In coordination with Carp Sept. 24, 1976, Jon Hassell sculpted sound in Los Angeles. By invitatio, guests experienced Solid State at a center for mediation, where they had 50 minutes of access to both a dance floor and giant pillows during the performance.

With Carp's support, Diane Blell secured a full-page, black and white advertisement on the second page of Slash magazine, dated February 1978.
At a party hosted by Roger Wong and sponsored by Carp Aug. 14, 1976, attendees included Barbara Burden, Marilyn Nix, Charles Christopher Hill, Michael Brewster, Carole Caroompas, Chris Burden, Bryan Hunt, Paula Sweet, Walter Wittel, Alexis Smith, Scott Grieger, Richard Newton, Brad Smith, Roger Wong, Mark Keiserman and Lowell Darling.
In coordination with Future Studio and as an installment of the Getty's Pacific Standard Time initiative, Carp revealed a selection of ephemera documenting performance and media arts by Bob Wilhite, Chris Burden, Vito Acconci, Kim Jones, Charles Christopher Hill, Alexis Smith, Richard Newton, Gordon Matta-Clark and Bruce Nauman, among other artists.
